My Storyboard
I created a storyboard just before the filming so that me and my partner Zahra could plan out our ideas clearly so we could quickly look at them while directing and editing the shots. We planned what shots we wanted to use and illustrated the shots in the boxes below. This made it quick and easy to process the information of each shot. It also made it easy to put down the music and the sound affects we wanted, it just overall gave us an idea of what we were both aiming for.
Me and Zahra had split the storyboard into two, Zahra had made the first six pages and I had made the last five. We tried to include as much detail as we both could.
The storyboard had included shot type and so we included a range of different shot types, to make sure we did not have loads of the same shots in a row which can become boring for the audience.

The first shot includes an Establishing Shot were we see the location and the first time we see the main character Selin entering. An Establishing Shot is important to add in as it shows the audience that the office is set in a school environment.
The next set of shots reveal a Closeup of Selins face as she enters the Headmasters office, where we used a Tilt shot to to make the shots intriguing towards the audience and this allows to get a reaction out of them involving the characters image. In shot 8 and 9, we managed to include a Match on Action shot of the two characters shaking hands as they have just met for the first time.
